How Often Should I have My Carpet Professionally Cleaned?

One of the most common questions we get asked is ‘how often should I clean my carpet’? There are several things to consider when wondering how often you should have your carpet professionally cleaned. Your environment plays a big part in this. To get the most out of your carpet you need to look after it, and clean it before it starts to show signs of soiling or wear. How Long Will It take For My Carpets To Dry After Cleaning?

This is a great question that we get asked often. Our hot water extraction method of cleaning is one of the most effective ways to clean your carpet. It relies on pressurized hot water to rinse the cleaning agent, along with any dirt and soiling from the carpet. A bit like washing then rinsing your clothes. Berry Stain on Carpet

1.Scrape up any solid matter with a knife, being careful not to push it further into the carpet. 2.Blot up any liquid by placing a towel over the area and standing on it. 3.Pour a little soda water (or water) on to part of the stain and blot it up with a towel, by standing on it, if that works, repeat on the rest of the stain, pouring water, then blotting up until you can’t get any more colour out. Then pour water onto the area to rinse out the excess wine and blot up with folded towel. You may need to do this a few times. Stop when no more colour is transferred into the towel. If you have a fan, set that up on the area to speed up the drying. If the stain is still visible, call us, and we can treat it....

Nail Polish Spill on Carpet

Yes your first reaction is to mop it up, but depending on what you do will affect the outcome of fully removing the nail polish from the carpet. If you need to, just blot the nail polish spill carefully with absorbent paper, being careful not to push it further into the carpet. DO NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER: All this does is thin the nail polish down, spreading it out further, which will then be absorbed so deep into the fibre, we may not be able to remove it. Call Us! Removing nail p...
